Valerie Schrag grew up in Berkeley, California, and lives in Brooklyn, New York, with a small orange cat by the name of Jewish Henry. Her comics have appeared in the anthologies The Graphic Canon (Seven Stories Press 2012) and Stuck in the Middle (Viking Children’s Press 2007). She is currently writing and web-publishing pages of “The Ufologist’s Son,” a story about dating, aliens, and sadness.
